CPR Certifications

American Heart Association Certification
A Better Day Learning Center offers various levels of CPR training.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers – New This course is a 4 hour class which includes breathing skills (mouth-to-mouth, mouth-to-mask, bag mask) and AED training, etc. A written exam is administered, and proficiency on skills are checked.
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers – RenewThis is a renewal course for those whose certification has not yet expired. This is a 2 hour class which includes skills review of compressions, breathing (mouth-to-mouth, mouth-to-mask, and bag mask), AED skills, etc. A written exam is required.
• American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid/CPR This is a basic First Aid course with CPR and AED training. Mouth-to-mouth and mouth-to-mask training is included. Skills will be reviewed with Q&A session; there is no written exam required.
• American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid This is a basic First Aid course. Skills will be reviewed with Q&A session; there is no written exam required.
• American Heart Association Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid/CPRThis is a basic Pediatric First Aid course with CPR and AED training. This is a great training for any preschool or home daycare. Mouth-to-mouth and mouth-to-mask training is included. Skills will be reviewed with Q&A session; there is no written exam required.
• American Heart Association Family and Friends First Aid for Children This is a non-certification course for basic First Aid. Designed to train parents and babysitters on first aid techniques. There is no written exam required.

Classes are available in Spanish and English if needed. Group training must be scheduled with two weeks notice at 305-597-3861.
